We’re proud to share that Sonair ADAR has been named one of inVISION’s Top Innovations for 2026.

It’s a big nod from a respected publication and a meaningful moment for us as a scaling company taking on one of the most established markets in industrial tech: 3D sensor technologies for autonomous robotics.
Each year, inVISION (published by TeDo Verlag in Germany) highlights ten products that enable new approaches, solve long-standing problems, or significantly accelerate inspection and automation processes. This year’s winners include Sonair alongside a strong lineup of global innovators. We’re honored to be among them.
Fact box: The 2026 winners are Eleven Dynamics & Witte Barskamp, Emergent Vision, Eyeo, Medabsy, Metubiq, MSTvision, Novoviz, Sonair, Tihive, and VMT.
But beyond the trophy, this kind of recognition really matters. It's validation in a market built on incumbents. Robotics safety has long been dominated by familiar technologies, familiar form factors, and familiar trade-offs.
ADAR changes that.

By using 3D ultrasound in air, ADAR gives robots a new way to understand their surroundings, one that works where cameras and LiDAR struggle, and one that keeps humans firmly at the center of the safety conversation. Awards like this help validate not just our product, but the idea that there’s a better, simpler way to do certified 3D safety.
For customers, partners, and system integrators, that third-party validation matters. It signals that ADAR isn’t just different, it’s credible, proven, and ready for real-world deployment.
The award also carries special weight because Germany is a key market for Sonair. We’re already in active dialogue with many of the region’s leading robotics and automation players, and our presence is growing.
As Markus Mayr, Head of Product Management at Sonair, puts it:
“Germany has a deep understanding of industrial safety and a very high bar for sensing technology. Recognition from inVISION shows that ADAR isn’t just novel — it’s relevant. It confirms that sound-based 3D sensing can play a serious role in the future of safe, human-centric robotics.”
You can also meet us in person at LogiMAT in Stuttgart, March 24–26, where we’ll be showcasing ADAR and continuing the conversation about smarter, more human-friendly robot safety.
